Imran Kadir, head of sales and marketing at The Daily Star, was named Asia’s Top Outstanding Youth Marketer of the Year 2025 at the Asia Marketing Excellence Award in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Kadir, also a former president of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh, secured the distinction through a competitive process pitting him against top youth marketers from 17 member countries of the Asia Marketing Federation (AMF).
Organised by the AMF, the accolade celebrates the most influential marketing leaders and innovators from countries throughout the continent, including China, Japan and South Korea.
The awards ceremony was held at Monarch Imperial Hotel in Colombo.
“This award is not just a personal milestone, it is a recognition of the creative strength, innovation and potential of Bangladesh’s young marketing professionals,” Kadir said.
“I am deeply grateful to AMF and everyone who has been a part of this journey,” he added.
Winners of the Asia Marketing Excellence Awards are recognised for contributions demonstrating strategic brilliance, creativity and measurable impact across industries.
Kadir is also an entrepreneur partnered with several ventures. He is co-founder of Mission Save Bangladesh Foundation, a trustee of Spreeha Foundation, and founding-president of CLUB JCI Ltd. Additionally, Kadir is serving as a marketing committee member of Bangladesh Football Federation.
Furthermore, his book on investment, titled “Road to Wealth”, has earned widespread appreciation in Bangladesh.
