RentYard, a digital home rental and property management platform, has officially launched its services in Bangladesh.
The platform is designed to simplify the home rental process through its fully digital interface for tenants and property owners, it said in a press release.
The company has secured an investment of Tk1.16 crore from a US-based investor. This funding will support RentYard’s operations in Bangladesh, following its initial launch in the United States.
Through its website and mobile application, RentYard enables users to search for rental homes, apply online, and rent properties remotely.
Tenants can pay their rent online using credit cards, debit cards, or mobile banking services, providing a more convenient and transparent alternative to traditional rental systems.
Its Founder Mohammad Tariquzzaman said that people often face difficulties and harassment when searching for rental homes.
To address the issues, RentYard was developed as a technology-driven solution to streamline the rental process.
He added that despite launching only a year ago, the company is currently valued at around Tk12 crore, with plans to expand RentYard into a global cross-border rental platform.
