Bangladesh Honda Private Limited (BHL) has introduced the new Honda Shine100 DX commuter motorcycle, adding digital features, upgraded suspension and an enhanced 100cc engine as competition intensifies in Bangladesh’s entry-level motorcycle market.
Priced at Tk117,000, the model is now available through Honda’s authorised dealer network nationwide.
The Shine100 DX is powered by Honda’s Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) 100cc engine and features a full digital instrument cluster, five-step adjustable rear suspension and a Combi Brake System (CBS), targeting commuters seeking greater fuel efficiency, comfort and everyday usability.
The motorcycle also comes with a longer wheelbase, higher ground clearance, a long seat, tubeless tyres, alloy wheels and premium chrome accents. The digital meter displays fuel level, mileage, trip information and a clock.
Bangladesh Honda Managing Director and CEO Susumu Morisawa said the company would continue introducing new models and technologies to meet changing customer expectations while expanding access to affordable mobility solutions.
Chief Marketing Officer Shah Muhammad Ashequr Rahman said the new model strengthens Honda’s position in the 100cc commuter segment by combining fuel efficiency, riding comfort, easy handling and advanced technology for riders in urban, semi-urban and rural areas.
The Shine100 DX is available in red, black and grey and is backed by a two-year or 20,000-kilometre warranty, whichever comes first, along with five free services.
