Hero MotoCorp has launched the XPulse 200 4V and XPulse 200 4V Pro in Bangladesh, entering the country’s on-and-off-road adventure motorcycle segment.
The XPulse 200 4V is priced at Tk3.35 lakh, while the XPulse 200 4V Pro costs Tk3.65 lakh. Both models are distributed by Niloy Motors, Hero MotoCorp’s distributor and joint-venture partner in Bangladesh.
The launch expands Hero’s portfolio beyond conventional commuting motorcycles into adventure riding, targeting customers seeking recreational and off-road capability.
“Our connection to Bangladesh goes far beyond treating it as a strategic market—it is a core part of our global identity and industrial footprint,” Hero MotoCorp CEO Harshavardhan Chitale said at the launch.
Over the past 12 years, Hero has built a local ecosystem through its joint venture with Niloy Motors, including a manufacturing facility, service network and Bangladeshi workforce, Chitale said.
“We are not just bringing products to Bangladesh; we are manufacturing, employing and growing together with the country,” he said. “The launch of the XPulse 200 series marks our commitment to shaping the adventure motorcycling culture right here in Bangladesh with world-class engineering built for local roads.”
Both motorcycles are powered by a 199.6cc, four-valve, single-cylinder, oil-cooled fuel-injected engine producing 18.9 brake horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, paired with a five-speed transmission.
They feature three ABS modes—Road, Off-Road and Rally—dual-purpose tyres, adjustable mono suspension, an LCD instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, a Class-D LED projector headlamp with LED daytime running lights, bash plate, handguards and a luggage plate with bungee hooks.
The XPulse 200 4V is designed for everyday commuting and light trail riding. It has an 825mm seat height, 220mm ground clearance and 190mm front suspension travel and is available in Metallic Nexus Blue White.
The XPulse 200 4V Pro is designed for more demanding off-road use. It has Pro adjustable suspension, 250mm front and 220mm rear suspension travel, 270mm ground clearance, an 891mm seat height, handlebar risers and an extended gear lever. It is available in Pearl Fadeless White.
Hero’s range is supported by more than 530 official sales and service outlets nationwide. Customers buying a new motorcycle receive a five-year warranty and insurance, according to the company.
Hero MotoCorp, headquartered in New Delhi, is the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, according to the company. It has a presence in 53 countries and more than 130 million customers, with eight manufacturing facilities, including one in Bangladesh, and two global research and development centres in India and Germany.
