Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast heavy-to-very heavy rainfall at many places over in three divisions due to active southwest monsoon.
It predicted rains in Chattogram, Barishal and Khulna divisions commencing 10am on Saturday, said a bulletin.
Due to very heavy rainfall landslide may occur at places over the hilly regions in Chattogram division.
Besides, temporary waterlogging may occur at places in Chattogram metropolitan areas, it added.
