Actor Hasan Masood has denied plans to quit acting, saying his recent television comments were misunderstood.
He said he only meant that he had not acted for two years because of a lack of quality content.
“It was a mistake to say it on a television channel. I said that I haven’t been acting for two years and that there isn’t much good content at the moment. But I never said that I would not act anymore,” Masood said.
He also dismissed suggestions that his increasing focus on religious practices would affect his career, saying faith and acting can coexist.
“You can practise your faith and still offer your prayers during a shoot,” he said.
