A Dhaka court has sentenced Faisal Karim Masud, the prime accused in the Inquilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi murder case, to 10 years’ imprisonment in a case filed under the Arms Act.
Dhaka’s 18th Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mahmudul Mohsin announced the verdict on Thursday.
The court also issued an arrest warrant against him along with the sentence, said Court Bench Assistant Ismail Hossain.
Faisal, also known as Rahul alias Dawood, remains absconding.
