Green Delta Insurance PLC shareholders have approved a 27 per cent cash dividend for the year ended 31 December 2025 at the company’s 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM was held on Tuesday through an online conferencing and broadcasting platform, the company said in a press release.
The session was moderated by Company Secretary Md Oliullah Khan FCS with permission of Chairperson Shamsun Nahar Begum Chowdhury, with sponsors, directors, and shareholders in attendance.
Chairperson Shamsun Nahar Begum Chowdhury thanked shareholders for their continued support and acknowledged the efforts of employees in maintaining uninterrupted services during economic challenges.
Managing Director and CEO Farzanah Chowdhury said, “We aim to drive continuous innovation and deliver best-in-class services to ensure financial stability and sustainable growth.”
She also thanked shareholders for helping the company retain its position in the industry and outlined plans to expand digital services, automated customer support, agriculture insurance, and microinsurance offerings.
Founding Managing Director Nasir A Choudhury also addressed the AGM and expressed gratitude to shareholders for their continued support.
Shareholders attending the AGM appreciated the company’s performance, corporate governance, dividend declaration, and the detailed annual report for 2025.
