GPH Ispat posted a bigger loss in the third quarter of fiscal 2025-26 as sales volume declined, hitting overall profitability and earnings per share.

For January–March 2026, the company reported negative earnings per share (EPS) of Tk0.31 compared with a negative EPS of Tk0.02 in the same period last year.

For the nine months ending March 2026, negative EPS stood at Tk0.22, down from a positive EPS of Tk0.63 in July–March 2024-25.

Net operating cash flow per share slipped slightly to Tk 6.53 from Tk 6.70, reflecting marginally lower operational liquidity.

Net asset value per share was Tk 51.44 at the end of March 2026.

The company said in a regulatory filing on the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday that the earnings decline was primarily driven by a significant drop in sales volume, which curtailed revenue generation and eroded profitability.
