Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) High School has achieved a 98.11 per cent pass rate in the SSC and equivalent examinations-2026, with all eight GPA-5 achievers being female students from the science group.
The results, published on 10 August, showed 52 out of 53 students passed, with one failing. Among the eight GPA-5 holders, four achieved Golden GPA-5, said a press release on Wednesday.
Of the 52 successful students, 28 were from science, 13 from humanities and 11 from business studies. Thirty-three of the successful candidates were female and 19 were male. Twenty-three students secured A grade.
The national average pass rate was 62.25 per cent, with 116,676 students achieving GPA-5.
GAU Vice-Chancellor GKM Mustafizur Rahman said the school’s success reflected the quality of education, dedication of teachers and efforts of parents.
“A school’s true success lies not only in good results but in developing students’ potential and nurturing them as enlightened and humane individuals,” he said.
The school’s head teacher said the result was the collective effort of teachers, students and parents, and efforts would continue for even better outcomes in future.
Established in 1999, the school currently has 372 students from class six to ten.
