Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, a frontline fighter of the July Mass Uprising and spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha.
In a condolence message issued on Friday, she said Hadi was a courageous political activist and a fearless voice who consistently stood against injustice and oppression.
She said that following the July Mass Uprising, Hadi played a significant role as spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha in protecting the rights of the July fighters, upholding democratic values and safeguarding national interests.
The adviser said the void created by his untimely death would be difficult to fill.
Farida Akhter prayed for the eternal peace of Hadi’s soul and expressed her sympathy to his bereaved wife, family members, fellow fighters and well-wishers.
