Enroute International Limited has signed an agreement with MetLife Bangladesh to provide insurance coverage for employees recruited by the human resources consultancy firm.
The deal will enable Enroute executives to receive insurance benefits from MetLife, the company said in a statement.
Enroute International Limited, which has been operating for more than 18 years, works with national and multinational organisations to deliver workforce solutions, operational management, and strategic human resources advisory services.
The company selected MetLife as its insurance partner citing its expertise in offering customised and innovative solutions, including cashless hospital and ambulance services, advanced client dashboards, faster claims settlement, and financial strength.
The agreement was signed by Enroute International Limited Chief Operating Officer Md Shahjad Hussain Jishan and MetLife Bangladesh Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer Ala Uddin at Enroute’s office.
MetLife Bangladesh provides insurance protection to around 10 lakh individual customers and more than 3 lakh employees and their dependents across over 900 organisations.
In 2024, MetLife policyholders in Bangladesh received about Tk2,895 crore in claims, reflecting the insurer’s scale of operations in the country.
MetLife Inc, listed on the New York Stock Exchange, operates in more than 40 markets globally and offers insurance, annuities, employee benefits, and asset management services to individuals and institutions.
