Energypac Power Generation PLC has unveiled a long-term growth roadmap and a financial realignment strategy called “River Wave”, aimed at improving production efficiency, expanding its market presence, reducing liabilities and restoring strong operational cash flows.
The power and engineering conglomerate presented the strategy to key financial partners and banking institutions at an executive meeting at Gulshan Club in Dhaka on 23 July. Guided by its “Growth for Goodness” principle, Energypac outlined a revenue-based financing model alongside plans to expand products and strengthen its core businesses, the company said in a press release.
Engr Rabiul Alam, Chairman of Energypac Power Generation, and Humayun Rashid, its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, outlined the company’s planned product expansion and portfolio realignment.
The roadmap focuses on next-generation mobility products, including light commercial vehicles and electric buses, as well as the expansion of bulk and bottled liquefied petroleum gas operations.
Energypac also plans to expand its substation business and introduce battery energy storage systems alongside its core industrial infrastructure offerings.
Chief Financial Officer Md Aminur Rahman Khan presented the “River Wave” financial realignment strategy, which centres on revenue-based growth, disciplined cost management and a data-driven Six Sigma framework.
The strategy seeks to maximise plant capacity, optimise working capital and streamline non-core assets to reduce liabilities.
“Our ‘River Wave’ strategy outlines a clear revenue-based financing model designed to streamline liabilities, optimise working capital and restore strong operational cash flows,” Aminur Rahman Khan said.
“By adhering to a rigorous operational framework and working closely with our financial partners, we are confident in our ability to build a resilient balance sheet and drive sustainable profitability.”
Energypac said the initiatives would strengthen its core operations and reinforce its commitment to supporting Bangladesh’s economic transformation through sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.
