Energypac Engineering has signed a $5 million contract with Adex Corporation to supply 15 units of 20/28 MVA transformers, strengthening power distribution infrastructure in northern Bangladesh.
The transformers will be used for an Asian Development Bank-funded project of the Northern Electricity Supply Company (NESCO). The contract signing was held at Adex Corporation’s office in Tejgaon, Dhaka, said a press release on Wednesday.
Energypac CEO and Director Rabiul Alam and Adex Group Chairman Ali Azam attended the signing.
The agreement will help improve the reliability and stability of power supply in NESCO’s coverage area, supporting the development and strengthening of Bangladesh’s power distribution infrastructure.
