Real Madrid forward Endrick has completed a loan move to Olympique Lyon, with the Ligue 1 club confirming the deal on Tuesday. The 19-year-old Brazilian will link up with Lyon’s first-team squad from 29 December.
The move comes just over six months before the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as Endrick looks to revive his club form and push for a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad. He has scored three goals in 14 appearances for the national team, although his last goal for the Seleção came in June last year and he has earned only one cap in 2025.
Endrick rose to prominence at Palmeiras, breaking into the first team at the age of 16 and playing a key role in their back-to-back Brazilian league titles in 2022 and 2023. After turning 18 in July 2024, he joined Real Madrid for a reported fee of €47.5 million.
Despite scoring seven goals in 40 appearances across all competitions, Endrick has struggled for regular minutes this season under new head coach Xabi Alonso, who replaced Ancelotti at the Bernabéu in the summer.
The left-footed attacker has joined Lyon on a paid loan until the end of the season, with the agreement reportedly worth up to €1 million.
