Emirates has signed an interline agreement with Loong Air, expanding its network in China and offering passengers access to additional domestic destinations beyond its existing gateways.
Under the agreement, Emirates customers will be able to connect to 22 points across China operated by Loong Air via Hangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
The arrangement allows travellers to book multi-airline itineraries on a single fare with a unified baggage policy and consistent fare conditions throughout their journey.
In addition to Loong Air, Emirates maintains partnerships with Air China, China Southern Airlines and Sichuan Airlines, giving customers access to more than 110 points in China beyond the airline’s own network through its five Chinese gateways.
The latest partnership is expected to improve connectivity for both leisure and business travellers, providing easier access to key domestic centres including Zhengzhou, Changchun, Haikou, Xiangyang and Dazhou.
Emirates began operations in mainland China in 2004. The airline now serves five major cities with 49 weekly flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hangzhou, operating a fleet mix of Airbus A380, Airbus A350 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
