Egypt’s ambassador to Bangladesh Omar Mohie Eldin Ahmed Fahmy met Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. He was accompanied by the embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission Soheila Mahran.
The courtesy meeting took place on Tuesday morning at the BNP chairperson’s office in Gulshan.
The BNP delegation included BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Joint Secretary General Humayun Kabir, and Organising Secretary Shama Obaid.
BNP leaders said that issues of mutual interest between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.
