Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) and MetLife Bangladesh recognised top performers at the Bancassurance Awards Night and Kick Off 2026, honouring executives who promoted customer-focused insurance solutions through the partnership.
The event celebrated the achievements of EBL executives who contributed to expanding bancassurance services, MetLife Bangladesh said in a press release.
EBL is one of the bancassurance partners of MetLife Bangladesh, offering insurance products through its banking network to support customers’ long-term financial security.

MetLife Bangladesh Chief Executive Officer Ala Ahmad said the collaboration with the bank has strengthened the delivery of insurance services to customers across the country.

Both organisations also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the bancassurance partnership and expanding services in 2026.
Among others present at the event were Eastern Bank Limited Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail and SME Banking M Khorshed Anowar and Executive Vice President and Head of Wealth and Liability Sarmin Atik.
MetLife Bangladesh Assistant Managing Director and Chief Distribution Officer Jafar Sadeque Chowdhury and Director and Head of Bancassurance Savrina Arifin also attended the programme.
