Singer Dola Rahman, who came into the spotlight with the song ‘Chandmama’ from the film ‘Borbaad’, has now released a new dance number outside of films. Titled ‘Kismat’, the song features D-Rockstar Niloy alongside Dola on vocals. The song was released yesterday evening on Gaanchil Music’s YouTube channel and has received a strong response from viewers and listeners since its release.
The lyrics were written by Asif Iqbal, while Adib Kabir composed and arranged the music. He has also lent his voice to the rap section of the song. The party-themed music video features a lavish production, dance performances and a lively atmosphere. The video was directed by Tanim Rahman Anshu, with choreography by Ruhul Amin. Dola and Niloy performed in the video themselves, alongside a group of dancers.
Speaking about ‘Kismat’, Dola Rahman said, “Kismat is essentially a dance number. Just listening to the song will create a kind of vibration in your heart. Naturally, you will feel like dancing. I have always liked Asif Iqbal’s writing. This time too, the song was created with his lyrics. Adib composed and arranged the music. Niloy and I sang the song, and we also performed in the video. Overall, it is like an item song from a film — the kind of song that makes everyone want to dance together. I believe the song will create a wave of dance among the audience and listeners.”
Lyricist Asif Iqbal said, “After Moyna, we tried to make another dance number. Dola and Niloy have sung very well. Tanim Rahman Anshu has made a wonderful video in keeping with the lyrics of the song. Everything has come together to make the song lively.
