Dhaka North City Corporation has formed a three‑member committee to assess damage caused by garbage, broken trees and vehicle movement around Uttara Centre Metro Station during the operation of a temporary cattle market.

According to a special notification issued by DNCC’s Public Relations Department on Wednesday, the market was set up on vacant land in Bou Bazar near sectors 16 and 18 of Uttara Diabari, extending to the empty field of C‑Block in Sector 18 beside the metro rail.

The committee has been instructed to submit its report within three working days.
