Dhaka Range Police organised an Eid reunion and cultural evening to foster mutual goodwill, harmony, and shared joy following the holy Eid-ul-Adha.
The event was held in a festive and joyous atmosphere at the Bangladesh Police Auditorium in Rajarbagh on Monday night.
Rezaul Karim Mallick, DIG of Dhaka Range (Additional IGP), attended the programme as chief guest.
Special guests included RRF Commandant (Additional DIG) Rumana Akter, Additional DIG (Administration and Finance) MA Jalil, Additional DIG (Crime Management) Md Sayfuzzaman Faruquee, and Additional DIG (Operations) Md Siddiqur Rahman.
Other senior officials, Superintendents of Police and representatives from the 13 districts under the Dhaka Range, and officers of various ranks were also in attendance. Police personnel, their families, and other invited guests participated in the celebrations.
In his opening remarks, the chief guest extended Eid greetings to all. He highlighted that many police members remain away from their families during festivals to ensure the security of public life and property.
He noted that such gatherings bring a sense of relief and joy to their busy professional lives while strengthening mutual harmony and professional bonds. The reunion concluded with a delightful cultural performance.
