Shareholders of DBH Finance PLC approved a 15 per cent cash dividend for the year ended 31 December 2025, as proposed by the board of directors, the company said in a press release.
The approval was made at the 30th annual general meeting (AGM) held recently via a digital platform, chaired by Chairman Syed Moinuddin Ahmed, where the company’s financial performance and governance indicators were also reviewed.
The AGM was attended by Vice Chairman Professor Imran Rahman, directors Nazir Rahim Chowdhury, Khandkar Manwarul Islam and Professor Nausheen Rahman, Managing Director and CEO Nasimul Baten, and Company Secretary Jashim Uddin FCS, along with general shareholders.
During the meeting, Managing Director and CEO Nasimul Baten highlighted operational performance, noting that DBH maintained a non-performing loan ratio of 0.84% as of December 2025. He said this supported the company in retaining its AAA (Triple A) credit rating for 21 consecutive years.
Chairman Syed Moinuddin Ahmed expressed satisfaction with the company’s performance despite challenging operating conditions and a broader economic slowdown, adding that management initiatives in risk management and service quality had supported continued profitability.
He also noted that since its incorporation, DBH has helped 62,869 families achieve home ownership.
