Under the partnership, SplitPay’s financial technology (fintech) platform will be integrated with Community Bank’s digital channels to introduce flexible payment options for students and young professionals.
Community Bank officials present included Chief Information and Technology Officer (CITO) and Head of Digital Financial Services Md Tanjim Morshed Bhuiyan, Head of Corporate Banking and Head of Business (Branch) Ariful Islam, and Head of Alternative Delivery Channels (ADC) and Head of Managing Director’s Coordination Team Mamun ur Rahman.
From SplitPay, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Insaf Mahmud and Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Mir Mutasim Hossain attended the event.
The partners plan to test the products through campus and merchant pilots, develop APIs for broader merchant acceptance, and run financial literacy and digital education programmes for students.
Community Bank said the initiative is part of its strategy to expand youth financial inclusion by offering safer, credit-smart digital payment options.
SplitPay said the collaboration will combine its technology with the bank’s network and regulatory expertise to accelerate product rollout and ensure compliance.
