Bangladesh’s newly appointed Minister and State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism held a courtesy meeting with United States Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T Christensen on Tuesday morning.
The meeting took place at the office of the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry at 11am.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam Rita and State Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat attended the discussion.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the United States. Ambassador Christensen expressed the US commitment to continue full cooperation with the current government.
Officials also discussed ways in which the US could assist in the development and modernisation of Bangladesh’s aviation sector.
Both sides highlighted the importance of deepening collaboration to enhance connectivity and tourism infrastructure.
