The Cabinet Division has published the asset declarations of the interim government’s chief adviser, advisers and officials of equivalent rank, along with those of their spouses.
A notification issued on Tuesday disclosed the asset details for 30 June, 2024 and 30 June, 2025, in line with a Cabinet Division directive issued on 1 October, 2024.
The list includes the chief adviser and other advisers, as well as officials holding equivalent positions.
Former advisers Md Mahfuz Alam and Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan are also among those whose assets have been made public.
In a speech to the nation two weeks after taking office in August 2024, Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus had pledged to disclose the assets of all advisers in his government at the earliest opportunity.
The Cabinet Division notification said the disclosures were made under the relevant provisions of the directive.
