Due to the ongoing flood situation and adverse weather, all Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations scheduled for Wednesday under the Chattogram Education Board have been postponed.
The Inter‑Education Board Coordination Committee announced the decision late Tuesday night through two press releases, covering five districts under the board.
The postponed exams include HSC, Alim, HSC (BMT), HSC (Vocational), and Diploma in Commerce.
According to the releases, the decision was taken considering the severity of the disaster‑prone weather conditions.
The five districts under the board are Chattogram, Bandarban, Cox’s Bazar, Khagrachhari and Rangamati.
Exams under other education boards across the country will continue as per the pre‑scheduled timetable.
The new schedule for the postponed exams will be announced later by the relevant authorities. The board has requested all concerned to take necessary measures accordingly.
