Centro has renewed its partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh for 2026 through its social impact platform, Alokanondo Foundation, extending a collaboration that has supported vulnerable children across the country since 2020.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed at Centro’s head office in Dhaka on June 25. The signing was attended by Nicolas Anton, Chief Operating Officer of Centro; Dewan Sazzadul Karim, Office Secretary of Alokanondo Foundation; and Dr Md Enamul Haque, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh, Centro said in a press release.

The partnership, launched in 2020, is aimed at supporting the well-being and development of underprivileged children through structured social impact initiatives.

In 2023, the company expanded its support to 10 Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centres operated by SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh. More than 750 vulnerable children have since benefited from early learning, care and nurturing environments designed to support their development.

The renewed agreement for 2026 will enable the continuation of these programmes, allowing more children to access quality early childhood development services and a family-like care environment.

“Centro’s steadfast support has given hundreds of children from vulnerable communities access to quality early education and a nurturing start in life. We deeply value their commitment to investing in children’s futures,” Dr Md Enamul Haque said.

Senior officials and representatives from Centro, Alokanondo Foundation and SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh attended the signing ceremony and reaffirmed their shared commitment to creating lasting positive change in the lives of vulnerable children.
