The Press Wing of the Chief Adviser will hold a press briefing on Saturday at 11am at the Foreign Service Academy on Bailey Road, the capital.
Senior Assistant Press Secretary Foyez Ahmed informed the media Friday evening that Ali Riaz, special assistant to Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, will lead the briefing.
Media representatives have been invited to attend.
The briefing follows the successful conclusion of Thursday’s 13th National Parliamentary Election and the referendum, which saw BNP-led alliance win more than two-thirds of the contested seats.
Sources indicate that Ali Riaz will update the media on the oath-taking of newly elected Members of Parliament and the process of power transfer by the interim government.
