BRAC Bank has partnered with the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) to provide Employee Banking services to the trade body’s employees and officials.
Under the partnership, BGMEA employees and officials will have access to salary accounts, multi-currency debit cards, credit cards, personal loans, DPS and FD, along with corporate benefits and privileges.
BRAC Bank Managing Director & CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan and BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan signed the agreement on 3 September. On the sidelines of the agreement signing ceremony, BRAC Bank inaugurated a 24/7 ATM facility inside the BGMEA Complex in Uttara, Dhaka.
The ATM facility will enable visitors, apparel entrepreneurs and staff to make cash deposits and withdrawals.
Representing BRAC Bank at the ceremony were Deputy Managing Director & Head of Retail Banking Md Mahiul Islam, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Branch Distribution Network Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Head of Transaction Banking AKM Faisal Halim and other officials.
BGMEA was represented by Senior Vice President Enamul Haq Khan, Vice President (Finance) Mijanur Rahman, Secretary General Md Shahedul Islam, Finance Controller Md Shamsul Arefin and Chief Engineer Md Sorowardi Shikder.
