A five-member BNP delegation met with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin on Tuesday to discuss election-related matters.
The meeting took place at the Election Commission headquarters in Agargaon at 5pm.
The delegation was led by Nazrul Islam Khan, a standing committee member of the BNP and head of the party’s election management committee.
Other members included Ismail Jabiullah, a member of the BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council; former acting election commission secretary Mohammad Zakaria; and Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajol.
BNP representatives entered the CEC’s office to engage in discussions amid heightened political attention ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
