Rain is likely across all eight divisions of the country during the 24 hours commencing at 9am on Wednesday, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely at many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Barishal, Khulna, Chattogram, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions, the BMD forecast said.
Moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may also occur at places across the country.
Day and night temperatures may rise slightly nationwide, the forecast added.
