Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rains in parts of the country in 24 hours commencing 9am on Wednesday.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Khulna and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” it said.

Day and night temperatures may rise slightly over the country.
The trough persists from Gangetic West Bengal to Northwest Bay. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate elsewhere over North Bay.
