bKash has introduced subscription payment facilities for several over-the-top (OTT) streaming platforms, alongside cashback offers for customers subscribing to services such as Hoichoi and Chorki through the mobile financial service.

Customers can subscribe to platforms including Chorki, Hoichoi, Bongo, Deepto Play and iScreen using bKash payment, allowing users to access movies, dramas, sports and web series from home, the company said in a press release on Monday.

Under the campaign, users subscribing to Hoichoi through bKash can receive Tk100 cashback by purchasing any package worth at least Tk700 by 15 June.

Each customer can avail the cashback once during the campaign period.

Subscribers to Chorki can also receive 10 per cent cashback, up to Tk50, on payments of at least Tk300 made through bKash by 10 June.

The offer can also be used once per customer during the campaign period.

The company said customers would also be able to access cashback offers on subscriptions to Bongo and Deepto Play.

Users can directly subscribe to Chorki, Bongo and other streaming services through the “Subscription” option on the bKash app.

Customers can also subscribe to OTT platforms through payment gateways using bKash as the payment method.

The company said digital entertainment platforms have become increasingly popular as viewers seek uninterrupted access to films, dramas, sports and web series across multiple devices at their convenience.

Popular titles available across the platforms include Bonolota Express, Domm, Taandob and Cactus.

The company said simplified subscription payments through bKash were helping make digital entertainment services more accessible and affordable for users.
