BGMEA and Digital Bridge Partners (DBP) have announced a collaboration to develop the Digital Factory Passport (DFP), an AI-powered ESG compliance tool designed to enhance transparency and accountability in Bangladesh’s ready-made garment (RMG) industry.

The DFP will streamline factory data management, reduce audit fatigue, and improve monitoring of sustainability performance, offering a standardized approach that aligns with international buyer requirements, BGMEA said in a statement.

BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan highlighted the importance of innovation and digital transformation for sustainability, with Senior Vice President Inamul Haq Khan, Vice President Vidiya Amrit Khan, and Directors stressing the DFP’s potential to establish Bangladesh as a leader in responsible manufacturing.

Representatives from DBP reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the RMG sector’s efficiency and transparency through digital solutions.
