Bengal Commercial Bank has appointed RSA Advisory Limited as its advisory partner, aiming for long-term financial growth through sustainable development of the CMSME sector. The agreement was signed on 13 January 2026, at the Bank’s Head Office in Gulshan, Dhaka.
The agreement was formalised by Tarik Morshed, Managing Director & CEO of Bengal Commercial Bank, and K Mahmood Sattar, Chairman of RSA Advisory Limited and former MD & CEO of City Bank and Eastern Bank. The signing ceremony was also attended by Selim RF Hossain, Senior Consultant of RSA Advisory Limited and former MD of Brac Bank, along with senior officials from both organisations, including K. M. Awlad Hossain, Additional Managing Director & CBO, Dr Md Rafiqul Islam, DMD & CTO, and Md Humayun Kabir, DMD & company secretary of Bengal Commercial Bank.
Since its establishment, Bengal Commercial Bank has focused on fostering entrepreneurship by providing financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The bank has also expanded its efforts to improve access to banking services for the unbanked population. Under this new agreement, RSA Advisory Limited will play a key role in the bank’s transformation, focusing on enhancing banking services for micro and SME entrepreneurs while boosting operational efficiency and institutional capacity across the bank.
