The Women’s Wing of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the inaugural BCB Women’s Cup, set to take place in Dhaka from 5 to 14 May 2026. The tournament will feature players who competed in the most recent Dhaka Women’s First Division Cricket League, offering a competitive platform to showcase their talents.
A total of eight teams will participate, providing opportunities for 112 players to compete in a structured, high-level environment. Each player will receive a match fee of BDT 25,000 for the duration of the tournament.
The BCB will also provide accommodation for players and coaching staff throughout the event. In addition to team awards, individual accolades will be presented, including Player of the Match and other performance-based prizes, ensuring recognition for outstanding contributions on the field.
The Women’s Cup aims to further strengthen domestic women’s cricket in Bangladesh and provide players with valuable exposure ahead of international competitions.
