Bankers Club of Bangladesh Limited formally unveiled the official jerseys and trophies for the upcoming BCBL Bankers Futsal Championship 2026 in Dhaka, aiming to strengthen sports culture and collegial relationships within the country’s banking sector, the club said in a press statement. The announcement coincides with the first edition of the tournament, scheduled for 13, 19, and 20 June at Dhaka’s Bashundhara Sports City, featuring 13 participating banks.
The unveiling event brought together representatives from all participating banks, including managing directors, additional managing directors, deputy managing directors, senior officials, organisers, players, and invited guests. Bankers Club President Rashed Akhtar said in a press statement that the championship is expected to become a regular annual sporting event for the sector, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and camaraderie among young bankers. General Secretary Rashid-un-Nabi added that beyond competition, the tournament will foster mutual cooperation and strengthen professional relationships across banks. Organisers concluded the event by wishing participating teams success and a smooth, well-managed tournament.
