Bank Asia PLC has launched Bank Asia ZEN, a revamped version of its mobile banking platform, as the lender seeks to offer customers faster, smarter and more seamless digital services.
Managing Director Sohail R K Hussain and members of the bank’s senior management team inaugurated the app at Bank Asia Tower on 8 July 2026, the bank said in a press release.
The lender rebranded its Bank Asia Smart App as Bank Asia ZEN, introducing a refreshed identity, an improved user interface and enhanced security features.
The platform allows customers to manage their accounts, open fixed deposit receipt and deposit pension scheme accounts, transfer funds, pay utility bills, recharge mobile phones, make QR payments and access card services through a single application. The bank’s official app information also lists services including transaction history, transfers to other banks and mobile financial services, insurance premium payments and cheque-related requests.
Hussain said the launch reflected Bank Asia’s continued commitment to innovation and customer-focused digital banking. The platform was developed to respond to customers’ evolving needs by offering a more intuitive, efficient and secure banking experience.
Bank Asia said it would continue using technology to deliver world-class financial services and support the development of a cashless and digitally empowered Bangladesh.
