Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations, placing particular emphasis on expanding trade, boosting investment, and enhancing cooperation in manpower exports.
The matter was discussed during a courtesy meeting between UAE Ambassador Abdullah Ali Khasif Al Humoudi and Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir at the Prime Minister’s Tejgaon office in Dhaka on Wednesday afternoon.
During the discussion, both sides reviewed a range of issues of mutual interest, with a strong focus on widening economic engagement and creating new opportunities for collaboration in key sectors. They also highlighted the importance of facilitating workforce mobility and improving avenues for manpower export from Bangladesh to the UAE.
The two representatives expressed optimism that the existing cordial relations between the two countries will continue to grow, paving the way for closer cooperation and mutual benefits in the coming years.
Officials noted that Bangladesh and the UAE enjoy longstanding friendly relations, which both sides are eager to strengthen further through continued dialogue and collaborative initiatives.
