Bangladesh lost the toss and will field first against West Indies in the opening match of the three-match T20I series. On Monday at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, Bangladesh have gone with a pace-heavy attack, featuring three pacers Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Mustafizur Rahman. The spin department includes Rishad Hossain and Nasum Ahmed.
There are four changes from the XI that played against Afghanistan in their last T20I. Captain Litton Kumar Das returns to the side after recovering from injury. Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, and Tanzid Hasan Tamim also make their way back into the lineup.
Dropped from the previous XI are Mohammad Saifuddin, Parvez Hossain Emon, Jaker Ali Anik and Shoriful Islam.
The Caribbean side have opted for a lineup packed with pace-bowling all-rounders. Their XI includes Jason Holder, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, and Romario Shepherd. In the spin all-rounder department, they have Alick Athanaze, Roston Chase, Khary Pierre, and Akeal Hosein.
