The group stage will continue until January 26. The qualifying teams will then move into the Super Six stage, where they will compete in two groups.

The top two teams from each Super Six group will advance to the semifinals.

Both semifinals will take place in Chattogram on February 4, with February 5 kept as a reserve day.

The final is scheduled for February 6 at 1:30 pm local time, while February 7 will serve as the reserve day.

ICC chief executive Sanjog Gupta believes the tournament will provide young cricketers with an important opportunity to gain international experience.

“The ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup plays an important role in the development of women’s cricket, giving young players the opportunity to compete at the highest level in their age group and gain experience on the global stage,” Gupta said.

He also highlighted the importance of bringing together teams from established and emerging cricket nations.

“These events are an important part of building a stronger global game and expanding cricket’s reach to new audiences,” he added.

India won the first two editions of the tournament in 2023 and 2025 and will enter the 2027 competition looking to defend their title once again.
