Among the divisional organising secretaries, Saifullah Haidar has been assigned responsibility for the northern part of Dhaka Division, ASM Sujauddin for the southern part of Chattogram Division, Imran Imon for Rajshahi Division, and Navid Nowroz Shah for the northern part of Chattogram Division. The committee also includes 19 assistant secretaries and 58 general members.
Party leaders said the move is part of a broader effort to reorganise the party’s structure from the top level down to the grassroots. According to them, the party recognised the need for organisational changes before the 13th parliamentary election held in February this year, and the process has continued since the election.
They said the restructuring aims to make the decision-making process more dynamic and strengthen coordination with grassroots leaders and activists. The NCP also seeks to advance its organisational preparations ahead of the local government elections scheduled for February next year and the party’s first national council.
