Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has met Bangladesh Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman in Manila, Philippines, and exchanged greetings on the sidelines of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
An official from Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the two ministers greeted each other during the ARF gathering on Thursday, UNB reports.
Jaishankar also met Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath at the same event.

Khalilur held several high‑level bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the United States, Russia, China, and Pakistan on Wednesday.
These discussions focused on economic cooperation, trade and investment opportunities, and global issues of mutual concern, according to diplomatic sources.
Khalilur is leading Bangladesh’s delegation to the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and the 50th Anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation of Southeast Asia.
