Bangladesh Honda Private Limited on Friday unveiled the all-new Honda NX200, an adventure-inspired motorcycle designed for thrill-seekers, versatile commuting and long-distance riding.
In a press release, the company said the NX200 draws from Honda’s global adventure lineup and combines a robust design, refined engine performance and rider-focused technology to strengthen Bangladesh’s adventure-touring segment.
Honda Motor Corporation Limited Japan Chief Officer of Motorcycle and Power Products Operations Minoru Kato thanked customers and partners for their continued support and highlighted Honda’s milestone of producing more than 500 million motorcycles globally, alongside Bangladesh Honda’s cumulative sales of 550,000 units since 2012. He also said Bangladesh Honda is now recognised as a global production resource and is supporting ongoing international exports.
Bangladesh Honda Managing Director and CEO Susumu Morisawa said Honda’s mission is to deliver the joy of mobility through affordable, reliable and advanced products, reaffirming the company’s commitment to introducing models with modern features and improved riding capabilities. He also said the company will export the new motorcycle to Mexico in collaboration with Global Honda.
Bangladesh Honda Chief Marketing Officer Shah Muhammad Ashequr Rahman said the NX200 redefines the adventure-touring category by offering smooth control, comfort and performance across varied terrains. Powered by a 184.4cc PGM-FI engine delivering 16.5 PS at 8,500 rpm and 15.1 Nm at 6,000 rpm, the motorcycle features dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control, Assist and Slipper Clutch, and a 4.2-inch fully digital TFT display with USB Type-C connectivity. All-LED lighting, high ground clearance and an ergonomic seat are aimed at ensuring a premium riding experience. The company also introduced a new Honda helmet developed in collaboration with KYT.
The Honda NX200 will be available from 20 December at all Honda exclusive authorised dealer showrooms in Radiant Red Metallic and Pearl Igneous Black, priced at Tk315,000.
