Bangladesh stepped into a new chapter in its football journey on Wednesday, making its debut at the FIFAe Regional Online Qualifiers eFootball Console. The national squad faced a tough opening day against established teams from across Asia and Oceania but managed to record their first-ever win and a valuable draw.
The highlight of the day came with a 2-0 victory against New Zealand, marking Bangladesh’s maiden triumph in the competition. The side also secured a 1-1 draw against Korea Republic, showing resilience under pressure.
The four-man squad representing Bangladesh are Miraz Hossain Pranto (MHPranto10), Md. Naimur Rahman Rafi (Rafi), Abdur Rahman (Sostar), and Md. Al-Amin (Al Amin).

Despite defeats against some of Asia’s strongest teams, the Bangladeshi players fought hard to gain valuable experience on the international stage.
The Bangladesh Football Federation expressed confidence that the team will grow stronger with each outing and deliver improved performances in the upcoming fixtures.
