Pakistani actor Ayeza Khan has seemingly dismissed recent rumours of trouble in her marriage to fellow actor Danish Taimoor, responding briefly to speculation about their alleged separation, reports Samaa.
Ayeza reportedly replied “fake” to a fan page discussing the divorce rumours. Her response was widely interpreted by fans as a denial of the claims.
The speculation emerged after social media users noticed changes in the couple’s recent online activity and their apparent absence from each other’s posts and public appearances.
Ayeza and Danish have been married for more than a decade and are among Pakistan’s best-known celebrity couples.
Rumours gained traction after Ayeza was reportedly absent from a special screening in Karachi celebrating the finale of Danish’s drama Humrahi.
Fans also noticed that neither actor appeared to publicly acknowledge their Nikah anniversary on 8 August.
Further speculation followed when users pointed to the lack of recent family photographs and anniversary-related posts around 14 August.
Ayeza later shared a black-and-white photograph of herself covering her ears with both hands.
Some social media users interpreted the image as a cryptic message and linked it to the ongoing rumours.
The growing speculation led several users to question whether the couple were facing problems in their marriage, with some even suggesting that they had separated.
However, there has been no official confirmation of a separation or marital difficulties from either Ayeza or Danish.
Ayeza’s reported “fake” response is the closest either actor has come to addressing the recent claims.
