Aviation minister calls for enhanced passenger services at Dhaka airport

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam Rita on Saturday directed officials to further improve passenger services during an inspection of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

The minister visited key operational areas of the airport and reviewed overall activities, accompanied by Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Air Vice Marshal Md Mostafa Mahmud Siddiqui. She also held discussions with relevant officials and issued necessary instructions aimed at enhancing service quality for passengers.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the minister distributed sweets among on-duty staff and conveyed Eid greetings to employees and passengers at the airport. She wished travelers a safe and pleasant journey.

Senior CAAB officials present during the visit included Member (Operations and Planning) Air Commodore Abu Sayeed Mehboob Khan, Member (Administration) SM Lablur Rahman, and Member (Security) Air Commodore Md. Asif Iqbal, among others.

Expressing satisfaction with the airport’s overall management and service standards, the minister urged authorities to continue maintaining and improving the quality of services in the days ahead.
