Bangladeshi rock band Artcell will return to live performances after a ten-month hiatus with a scheduled concert tour across Canada beginning in September.
The tour is set to open on September 13 in Vancouver, with additional shows in cities including Toronto and Calgary currently under discussion. The final itinerary will be announced through the band’s official Facebook page.
Guitarist Iqbal Asif Jewel said arrangements for the tour are still being finalised.
The band last performed in Australia in November and has since remained off the concert circuit for several months. According to Jewel, the break was influenced by personal circumstances, including the death of vocalist Lincoln’s mother.
Following that period, Lincoln travelled to the US and is now based in Canada, where he is helping coordinate the upcoming tour.
The band is expected to perform a mix of well-known tracks alongside newer material during the Canadian shows. Bassist Cezanne will also join the tour from Australia.
The current lineup of Artcell includes Lincoln, Shaju, Jewel, Faisal and Cezanne.
