Ansar-VDP Development Bank has initiated plans to modernise its banking operations with a digital core banking solution to provide faster, more efficient services to customers.
A coordination meeting was held on Monday at Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force headquarters to discuss implementation of the online, real-time core banking system, said a press release on Wednesday.
The meeting, chaired by Bangladesh Ansar and VDF Director General and Ansar-VDP Bank Chairman Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud, discussed technical frameworks and strategic integration.
The bank’s Managing Director Mir Mofazzal Hossain was also present.
Officials discussed launching Digital KYC to make customer onboarding faster and easier, along with mobile banking app and internet banking features. Decisions were made to integrate utility bill payments including electricity, gas and mobile recharge into the digital platform.
The meeting also discussed API integration frameworks to ensure seamless, fast and secure data exchange between digital services. Leads Corporation and BRD team officials were present to discuss technical proposals and implementation timelines.
The initiative aims to make the bank’s operations more modern, technology-driven and customer-friendly while paving the way for faster and secure digital banking services.
