By utilizing his own intellect, hard work, and indomitable innovative power, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party member Abul Hossain has set a unique example of technology-dependent creativity. Alongside fulfilling his professional duties, he has proven through building a drone aircraft entirely on his personal initiative that members of the Ansar force are not only responsible security personnel, but are also equally skilled in modern technology and innovative capabilities. The Director General commented that such innovative initiatives are extremely significant for the overall development of the force and the welfare of the country, and emphasised the importance of institutionally utilising such creative activities, according to a press release.
The director general stated in his address, “Such an innovative initiative by an Ansar member is very important for the overall development and prosperity of the force. The process of effectively utilising the unique and creative activities of force members for the welfare of the country and the nation by incorporating them under an organised framework will continue.”
This exceptional invention, widely praised across Bagerhat district, has turned Abul Hossain into a symbol of pride for the force. In recognition of his creative initiative and technological success, on 23 December 2025, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party’s Director General, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud, invited him to the force’s headquarters.
During the event, Abul Hossain successfully flew his invented drone aircraft in the sky, attracting the attention of all present. At that time, the Director General highly praised his extraordinary invention and assured him of the force’s full support and patronage for his innovative activities in the future.
It is noted that starting research and innovative activities from 2020 to date, Abul Hossain has built a total of 27 drone aircraft. Each drone is capable of successfully flying in the sky for long durations—clear evidence of his technical skill, perseverance, and continuous research.
Alongside his duties, this tireless innovative endeavor of his is also an exemplary and inspirational example for other members of the force. All concerned expressed the expectation that in the future, through the addition of more advanced technology and building modern drone aircraft, Ansar member Abul Hossain will make an important contribution to the overall development of the force and the country.
Senior officers, employees, and members from various levels of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party headquarters were present at the event.
The force chief pledged to soon implement detailed plans to enhance the multi-purpose drone utilization capabilities of members at the grassroots level of the force.
